Becky Newsom
Becky Newsom grew up in Cuero, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a BFA with Honors. She was a founding member of 500 Exposition Gallery in Dallas. Since 1982 she has lived in Hoboken, NJ with her husband the sculptor, Scott Madison. Most recently her paintings were the subject of a one person show at the Iron Bridge Gallery in Long Lake, NY and a group exhibition entitled “In Bloom” at The Islip Art Museum in East Islip, NY. Her work is held in numerous private collections.
